Bishop’s College school:

As we look ahead to the 2026–27 season, there is a genuine sense of excitement and anticipation throughout our program. From the collegial spirit that defines the league to the competitiveness of the games, these are weekends that our players, families, coaches, and schools look forward to each year.

Our enthusiasm for the upcoming season continues to grow as we remain committed to our player-development model and, most importantly, to having a positive impact on each student-athlete who comes through our program. Our goal remains consistent from year to year, to help every player maximize their potential on the ice while embracing the same commitment to excellence in the classroom.

Following a successful 2025–26 campaign that saw our team capture the CPSHA Championship, we recognize both the achievement and the responsibility that comes with it. While we are proud of what last year’s group accomplished, our focus now turns to the work ahead and to helping a new group of student-athletes grow, compete, and make the most of their opportunity.

Our 2026–27 roster will once again reflect the diverse nature of our program, with players representing as many as six different countries. We are particularly proud of the opportunities created for our graduating players, with 13 members of last season’s roster moving on to various levels of hockey, including Junior A and Major Junior (QMJHL). Their progression is a meaningful reflection of the work they put in, both individually and collectively, during their time with us.

One of the aspects of our program that we value most is the opportunity for internal promotion. This season, 11 players from our U17 Prep program have earned the opportunity to move up to the Varsity level. They will join five returning players from last season, along with five new additions to the program. Together, they will form a new group with its own identity, challenges, and opportunities.

The Canadian Prep School Hockey Alliance continues to be an important part of our schedule. We have tremendous respect for the values the league represents and for the quality of competition it provides. The CPSHA’s ability to bring together strong academic institutions and competitive hockey programs creates a unique environment where student-athletes can pursue excellence in both areas. That balance is a significant part of what makes the league special.

As we begin another season, we would like to wish all the teams, families, coaches, and, most importantly, the players, a healthy, rewarding, and successful year.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the rink.

See you in the arenas!
